Hello everyone. Im a proud owner of 10 weeks old baby beardie. Just wanted to ask because a guy with “lot of experience” told me that “use of a ceramic bulb is not needed for night time heating as you do not need a warm nighttime temperature as they can drop as low as 5°c naturally in the wild”. Im currently using Intense Basking bulb 150w in 4x2x2 vivarium. I did some research and i found thats “true” but wanted to make double check with you guys. My room temperatures drop at night under 15C because its winter now and outside temperatures are -6-7 for few days. I turned off the heating last night and temps was 10-14C. Any help will be useful for me. Thanks in advance and sry about my professional english 😄

Oh O.K, Bulgaria is a beautiful country ! Do you miss it ? Now you're in the U.K , so are there many dragon breeders there ? You have a more unique morph.
The feeding 2X a day is really the old way, I mean if you feed him 4-6 small bugs twice a day it's O.K but otherwise they can gain weight too fast.
Yeah theres a pretty much dragons here i also have leopard gecko :) I drop 10 crickets today in his vivarium hope when i come back from work they will be gone 😄 I love animals a lot. I have also parrot and dog.. its like a zoo at my home 😄

Nice gecko ! It seems that most bearded dragon owners are animal lovers in general.
Thank you also appreciate ur help. Can i ask 1 more question. Any suggestions how to keep humidity up to 30-40% now is around 33% i know its perfect for beardies but just in case to know when drops under 30%. Im using Beardie Life substrate. Should i mist the substrate?

Your humidity is fine as long as your getting it w/ a digital probe hygrometer placed on the back center wall of the tank

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
