I have five newly born hatchlings and was wondering on how I should go about feeding them, what should I give the for greens and what would be better silk worms or crickets, or should I do both juust with silk worms sparingly.and how do I get them to start eating
I also have hatchlings that are not eating. They are 4 days old. I have small crickets and phoenix worms. I have 10 babies so far and another 4 that I expect to hatch in the next day or two. I have offered the crickets and worms on several occasions (not leaving them with the babies) and I have also put minced turnip greens in their enclosure, but none have eaten anything.
Well mine started eating about a week ago ,they are now about two weks old ,they are eating crickets and pheonix worms . I just kept giving them crickets and pheonix worms until they started eating them, and also left parsly cut up fine in the tank for them .
Here's a site that shows the best greens to feed: http://www.beautifuldragons.503xtreme.com/Nutrition.html
Make sure the greens are cut up into little tiny pieces and mist the greens to help keep them fresh. The best greens/veggies are in green print on that page.
