That's a nice looking viv! Just a quick warning about the kind of thermometer you're using though - they have been known to be as much as 20 degrees off. The most reliable kinds are digital probes, which have to be left for 45 mins to get a reading, or temp guns which are a little more expensive but can get an instant reading by pointing it at the place you want your temperature to be taken.
I know americans get them from Walmart for something like $12 but iv never actually seen them here in England. I've seen the kind that are used for cooking (i think they're for putting inside cooked meat to see if they're fully cooked in the middle?) but not exactly sure if that's the same thing... if you're finding it hard to find one it might be worth PM'ing a user who lives in england or searching/posting a question in the enclosures thread. Good luck searching!
just to add some help here
i personally use a Temp Gun and they work wonderfully
i believe they have international retailers
here is their main page http://www.tempgun.com/main.html
from what i have heard (and note its just what i have heard i have never kept rankins) but the rankin dragon is supposedly more of a social animal and can be kept in groups.
Currently trying not to stress over my anemic dragon....she is being treated, but I don't agree with her treatment plan and have been seeking out a second opinion from another vet. If anyone else has dealt with anemia, please let me know how it was resolved. I am losing sleep over this
Another post lol. My beardie does not like enclosures. Her tank is the kids room and she has created a nesting/bed spot in the corner. She will cuddle with my son but she know when the lights are out and the kids go to sleep, she literally goes to her bed like she is our 3rd baby. I love her. And to think, I never wanted a beardie lol
Please help. My beardie is my baby and I am worried she may be egg bound but I can't tell. She is over 2 yrs old and has never laid an egg. She has been swollen for two days and can't tell if she may be impacted or egg bound. Please help.
