I joined yesterday because on Friday, my Mom brought home my first beardie! I haven't seen him in person, since I live with my Dad for about a week or so now. He's about a month old (assumed), and looks about 3-4 inches long. His temporary name is Tiny, since he's well, tiny. I just hope it's a guy 'cause I would love to call it John Egbert, although I call him that now. Alright, to me now; I go by Hayden, a first-time reptile owner. I have caught and released dozens of western fence lizards, including a skink and an alligator lizard (if I'm right). I'm about 15 and a half, and moving in with Mom within the next week or so. I'm deaf from birth, if anybody wants to know. Tiny's current tank is 40g breeder, and we may be building a custom melamine home for him when he's a bit older. If anyone has questions about me or Tiny, shoot me a message!
Hi and welcome Hayden!
Your beardie sounds very cute - bet you can't wait to meet him!
So when you say you have caught and released western fence lizards, a skink and an alligator lizard, were they in your back yard? Must be lovely to have that sort of wildlife in your yard! We only have frogs here.

Thank you! They were usually in my front and backyard. The skink and alligator lizard were both caught within an hour at my grandfather's house. Most of my lizards caught were there too, but a family live under bushes in my front yard! I even saw a snake (not sure what species) at my friend's house who used to live next door to my grandfather's.
