lol daner, well I knew I didn't have to feed them so I was just thinking it was their food haha. Yeah my guys love them and they are so easy, much easier than crickets at least for me. I tried to make 1000 last untill the places start shipping again, but my guys are eating more so I just ran out on friday, so I had to get crickets.....I hate crickets. oh well the things we do for our babies!

I've though about it but I'm still not sure on the process and the work involved, I'm more like I'll give you movey you give me feeders type....lol, I've heard everyone say its easy but I just don't know.

It is quite easy. Besides the actually roaches, all you need is food, water crystals, a large rubbermaid type tote with a section cut in the top and then screened off for air circulation, egg crates for them to hide in, and a human heat pad to put underneath for heat.

Well I ordered a sample of Phoenix worms but if Lizzy does not chew them and they climb out alive then bye to PW's
BTW. Do you know if gecko's can eat them ? Just wondering.
Lizzy is really loving her new Repti bulb. She began to perk up immediately when I placed it in here home. Even tilted her face up toward it like a real sun worshiper
Has any one had problems with the top of your hands breaking out. Since I got Lizzy I have had little blisters on the tops of my hands. Really itches. Of course I wash my frequently between work and handling my pets. Hands are dry little bump blisters that itch awful. Or is it crickets biting me. It's a little weird for sure. I'm using bath and body hand sanitizer pump and it might even be that Just wondered if anyone else has ever had this. Have a great Monday. Later Yaya

Oh yea geckos love pw. I told a friend of mine about them and she feeds her leopard geckos them. She loves how they wiggle around. the only way a pw will get out is if there is water or moisture in direct contact with them.

This is why I want to try the pw's I just finished taking out crickets from my gecko's cage, and well Lizzy the beardie, I feel her in a separate container. It's actually her old 10 gallon home. Of course this wont work when she is bigger. Another thing about crickets is they get away every once in a while. I have one crawling in the den somewhere even as I type. Most likely the cat will find it or the vacuum. Ugh. :banghead: I sure hope my babies like the PW. I thought they would be in today. But nope might be tomorrow. As long as it arrives soon.
Have a great evening.. yaya :D

Most dragons love phoenix worms, so you shouldn't have a problem! Yeah mine should be at the post office tomorrow I have the place I order from put hold at post office on the box so that way it ensures my foods safety, don't want them riding in a car for 6 hours in this cold!

I found that my beardie didn't like them until.i washed and dried them off. It's a bit tedious but I still do it. I guess it's either the smell they give off or the substrate taste that he didn't like.

Swordtail has been doing a whole lot of "Lizard yoga" lately
Currently trying not to stress over my anemic dragon....she is being treated, but I don't agree with her treatment plan and have been seeking out a second opinion from another vet. If anyone else has dealt with anemia, please let me know how it was resolved. I am losing sleep over this
Another post lol. My beardie does not like enclosures. Her tank is the kids room and she has created a nesting/bed spot in the corner. She will cuddle with my son but she know when the lights are out and the kids go to sleep, she literally goes to her bed like she is our 3rd baby. I love her. And to think, I never wanted a beardie lol
Please help. My beardie is my baby and I am worried she may be egg bound but I can't tell. She is over 2 yrs old and has never laid an egg. She has been swollen for two days and can't tell if she may be impacted or egg bound. Please help.
I'm still looking to adopt. I live near Homerville Georgia.
