new corn snake help

I bought a corn snake recently. He is about 16"-18" long. I tried to feed him a live pinky mouse today. I put him in a cardboard box and placed the mouse in with him. The snake went up to it, sniffed it, and then kept on going past it. I then used tongs and held the mouse in front of him, but that did not work either. I then thought maybe he was not warm enough so I put him back into his tank with the mouse, but he did not eat it then either. Since then I took the mouse out and am wondering what should I do? Any advice will be much appreciated.

he might not be hungry sometimes they dont eat well in a new cage :study:

I agree with the previous poster, my corn snake is 20" but I only feed frozen. Check out www.cornsnakes.com

I tried feeding him frozen and he ate it right away so happy i guess he just won't take live prey thanks for all your help!
