awsome. That looks like a custon enclosure? Have you any pix of the entire thing?

its actually just a plastic sterlite tub. im normally not a fan of racks/tupperware for animals, if i cant see it theres not point in having it. but i found a way to make these as close to an actual tank as i could get without getting a couple dozen aquariums. i only use these for juvies over ten grams up to adjulthood, then they get real tanks.

i put a bunch of holes on the top and the sides, cut out a spot on the back to put screen in, cut out a spot on the front to put a door in. i take a stick of screen framing, cut it, glue it to the front and the lip where the screen normally goes into is perfect size for the plexi i use making it a perfect slider track. so i can stack them about 4 high and still have front access via sliding door. it slides easy and is still secure enough that the animals cant open it.

holy crap how many lizzards do you have?!!

Because I don't breed or intend to have that many (maybe someday) I'll just go right to the verticle tanks. It's defenetly a good idea for future reference. I suppose one could use a larger opaque tote with biger windows for a permenent enclosure..they make them in all sizes. Provided ofcourse that they do not need heat...

yea i much prefer upright aquariums or custom built wood/plexi, but those are basically temp tanks for the growers, so if at any time i dont need as many i can take them apart and they all fit inside each other, easy storage. ive tried the larger totes and didnt care for them. they work great if youre in a pinch and need to split a group up or something, but as for long term, i dont like it.

Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?
