New Behaviors?

Hello! My 17 month old beardie has recently (within the last week or so) begun to display new behaviors that have concerned me. He looks and acts normal otherwise (not lethargic, poops, eats, jumps on his climbing towels) but has begun doing some sort of beard twitching/flaring behavior? Idk if it’s some sort of hormonal thing, he’s hasn’t really displayed anything of the sort so far. He does seem to lick stuff more, which I’ve heard can be a male thing. I’m keeping a close eye on him, but has anyone seen behavior like this before?

Thank You!

Can you maybe get a video of him doing it? The best way to do videos here is upload them to youtube and post the link.

Hey guys! I have not seen him do the behavior again, but he has been puffing out his beard (not all the way) just a tad bit more than usual I feel, and well as turning just the edges of it black. He does it mostly in the morning, especially if I take him near the window to sit in the sun for a bit. (He has a lamp, we just have good sun in his room which he enjoys.) I’ve been a little stressed about his new little quirks, but he looks and acts fine otherwise; if anything, he’s probably more alert than before, but I am continuing to keep a close eye on him. I can’t wait to see Dr.Wilson be a big dragon but I try to cherish hard the moments while he still fits in my hand 🦎
It’s been a month since I’ve joined bd.org! It feels like it’s been longer than that, but I’m glad I’m here and apart of this lovely community!
I can feel her staring into my soul demanding food
She was having a staring contest with a mealworm. I guess I never taught her to not play with her food, lol.
