Hey guys I have a baby beardie and she/he just will not sleep, I just got her today and it’s been weird she just glued her self to the side of the wall. I took her out for hours and played with her, They told me she/he needed a bath so we gave one and she loved it! I also have a ceramic bulb with no light will that produce enough heat for a 20gal?
Hi there! Bringing home a new baby is exciting
Can you please post a pic of your tank setup along with details about uvb lighting and basking lighting, substrate, ect? Ceramic lights are good for keeping the tank temps from dipping below 65 degrees at night time (as they don't produce any light, just heat). There are so many knowledgeable people on this forum who will be happy to help!

Please get a bright white basking bulb for basking CHE's should be used to heat tanks at nite for tanks falling below 65 or to add extra heat if the basking light is not enough -- for your 20 gallon tank I would try a 75 watt bright white --- he needs this to start digestion - CHE's are not not equipped to do that --- you also need a long tube fixture for a UVB -- NO coils please they are terrible UVB's --what are the temps in the tank? Basking temp should be 105-110 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer- middle of tank should be in the 90's and cool side should be 80's -- if your dragon is not sleeping it could be the tank is too hot--- the CHE should not be on if its over 75 at nite - dragons like it cool and dark temps 65-75
