I haven't actually had a baby yet so any tips would be great!!!

Also Ziggy likes to close his eyes a lot is that normal for a baby? Even when we aren't near his eyes

Ziggy is a cutie, looks very young, probably less than a month old. Can you post pics of the entire set up, that way we can help if any adjustments are needed. Where did you get Ziggy ? When I was raising my hatchlings I sprayed them daily [ mid day, not late ] for a drink to keep them hydrated. Feeding them 1/4" crickets about 3 X a day [ if you use crickets ] or even smaller dubia. Bsfl are also a good addition to the diet. It's important to feed them very small insects, and lots of them !

That's a decent asic set up, but get a nice long branch to angle across the entire cage. Long ones like this [ from when I used to raise beardies ]

What does a UVB light do and what does a UVA light do? and what do the both look like? I'm a new beardie owner and just a tad confused about the lighting would anybody be able to help me ASAP?!!
