So updated setup. 40 gal with Reptisun T8 20”. Reptisun 10.0 UVB, Hammock, got rid of the Walnut shell and used the rep carpet. IR gun, I also have 2 digital thermometers coming tomorrow.

Still trying to figure out a way to get the UVB off the net without taking the entire tank screen off.
Set it vertical across the tank by the basking light -- take the screen place up to the UVB on the end of the tank butt the screen up to it place the basking light next to it--- or mount it inside w/ some of these things - 3 M velcro command fasteners --- fishing line --- long plastic zip ties -- picture hanging wire-- you want it 6-8 inches directly over the basking decor

Another thing you can do is poke holes in the screen and use heavy zip-ties to attach it to tbe underside of the screen. Thats how I have mine.

If you upgrade your UVB to a 24" fixture w/a reptisun 10.0 T 5 it can sit on top of the screen - you have a wide hole screen ---- if your going to do that distance would be 8-10 inches over the basking decor

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
