Hello everyone. Thanks for all your comments. We have used this site a lot to help us set up our new beardie's home.
My husband decided to get my daughter a pet for her 7th Birthday. He picked a bearded dragon. I told him that was fine as long as I didn't have to touch it, or feed it, or have anything to do with it. My daughter fell in love with Goliath immediately. I on the other hand wanted nothing to do with him. After a few days my daughter found out that I hadn't even touched the beardie. How could I resist my beautiful little girl's sad eyes! So I did get the courage to pet him.
It is 3 months later. Now I think she is sorry she asked her mommy to touch her beardie. My husband has to remind me that Goliath belongs to her and not me  I don't know how we ever lived without him!
loving our new pet, and appreciating all your experienced advice,
Julie
Our bearded dragon was also originally for my son for his 7th b'day. Well, my son is 12 now and guess who loves, cuddles, feeds and bathes beardie?
Yep....you guessed it.....ME! I wouldn't trade it for nothing. They are wonderful little creatures and everyone should get to experience them!
