Just keep offering them to him - try setting them down right in front of him see if he goes for themI tried the BSFL today. He was very curious about it. He took a couple pokes at them but didn't end up eating any of them.
We got him at a store. The BSLF were very active but small. He did try to grab a few but didn't for some reason. He hasn't eaten greens. I have noticed that he will eat critters that are roaming around that got away from us after a little bit but won't eat ones that we drop near him. He found a worm this evening that my son hadn't collected earlier in the day and went after it. I hate to consider letting his food roam around but I almost feel as though he is completely against eating out of a bowl. Were the bsfl moving very much ? Babies are very attracted to movement. Will he eat any greens ? It might still be relocation stress and needs more time to develop more appetite. I can't remember, did you get him at a store or a breeder ?
He seems to love water. He actually recognizes the syringe that we use to drip water on his nose. He goes right to it when we show it to him. I can't imagine he is dehydrated. We mist his enclosure and provide him with water directly. The humidity in his enclosure is just right all the time.Well that's a start. He'll get the hang of itHas he had any hydration ? If not be sure to veryslowly drip water on the end of his nose to let him have a chance to drink. Offer just a little bit of shredded greens like kale, turnip, mustard, arugula, mist them just a little bit.
