Hello. I recently got my dragon 2 weeks ago. He loves mustard greens which I was told is shocking being 2 months old. Loves dubias and occasionally mealworms. This is his enclosure. I plan on getting a much bigger cage in a couple months and going to get the long UVB light instead of the dome I currently have. My question is about his basking spot…he don’t want to fully lay on it and I checked the temperature was 104 so he lays kind of angled. The basking light is only 75w. The temperature on the digital temp over in the basking area is around 90. I feel the basking spot he lays on gets too hot. I tried switching do different basking things he could lay on and they all get about 104ish but could be higher. Do I need a less watt bulb?

Hi, so basically the baby beardies need temps from 100 to 110 f so maybe the rays are hitting better in a certain spot? It depends

Take the probe and place it where the dragon sits to get the surface basking temp-- if its 104 that is ok but watch the dragons behavior hes going to tell you if its too hot - he will sit off to the side or lower area - if that is the case get the spot where hes sitting temps- did you get the UVB replaced yet this is crucial and hes very young and growing so he needs this as soon as possible

That habitat looks to be around 12 inches tall (it might be 18?)
If so the basking bulb is a little to close to him in all likelihood. Either raise the bulb higher or lower the basking area. But 1st get the temp directly under the light.
Also as @KarrieRee said, it's imperative to get the correct uvb for asap. Using the incorrect uvb absolutely will do irreparable harm to him.

Gus - he’s a rescue!
How much water should I be giving my bearded dragon? He will only drink from a dropper when I drop on his nose and I’m not sure if I should give it to him until he won’t drink anymore? Or should I stop after he’s had a certain amount?
Just want to check that if my beardie is ok I managed to get a video of him yawning today and screenshot him with his mouth open does he have mouth rot??? He is eating and drinking normally btw, the discoloration on his left of the mouth has been there for a month but the discoloration on his right side is new
