Hi! We’re new here! I adopted Lemon from a pet store a week ago. I’m a new beardie owner, but have been doing my research for about two years.
Lemon has been to the vet and received the typical diagnosis of a couple parasites. We’re doing two rounds of antibiotics and he’s doing great.
Likes: dubai roaches, electrolyte soaks, and laying with his legs out after a run about in his enclosure.
Dislikes: greens and dead crickets. (same)
He likes to wake himself up and put himself to bed at night by climbing up in his vines for security and dangling his legs. Anyone else’s do this? It gives me a laugh. I do worry about him constantly and try to leave him to get use to his surroundings outside of feedings and medication rounds. He’s got stress lines, but anticipating they subside as he adjusts and loses the hitchhikers in his belly.
Anyway- thrilled to join, happy to learn all the things from the pros as Lemon (Lemon Grab, Lemon Meringue, Lil Lem Breezy, Lemz or Lemmy) has quickly become family. Any seasoned dragon owner advice is welcome.
