My son has two new Bearded Dragons (Blaze & Jude) they are not very tame really dont appear to be friendly they puff their beard and open their mouth when you attemp to pick them up and will only tolerate a couple pets to the head then run around the tank like crazy. Any suggestions on how to tame the beasts lol
I really dont see what video games have to do with understanding how to tame the babies! I find that offensive and rude. My son has been attentive to the lil critters he just doesnt want to hurt them since they are so skiddish. My son is an honor roll student who wishes to become a vet.
I don't think that gofast was being serious or trying to offend you. Chill ..
One thing you may want to try is, try picking them up with your hand while it is level to their eye level.. don't reach down at them. I used to have a dragon that HATED when I reached down for him he would tear me up... in fact that was the first dragon I was even almost eaten by He would snap at me and clamp down hard... but whenever I reached in for him level he was cool with it.. was weird.

I was just being silly....as in the dragon is moody because he[the dragon] is playing those darn video games and staying up all night and that is why they[dragons] are crazy
*note to self: must start using smileys so people understand my sarcasm...
How old are these two new dragons? For babies the behavior you describe is not uncommon at all and given a little time they will tame down. Even if they aren't babies a change in environment can make them seem a bit untame until they have time to settle in.
Biggest thing is to keep interacting with them. I personally have not come across a bearded dragon that didn't eventually lose the attitude and become an enjoyable pet.
