My beardie seems to never move from whereever she was sleeping. She is fully awake though, and has her body propped up but never goes to the basking spot. Any reasons why this could be? She will stay there for a while if I put her there but other than that she sits there half in her cave with her head out looking around. Can she not find the basking spot? I dont get it her temps and everything is perfect and reptisun is still good.
My beardie was doing this for a while. He doesn't have a hide right now (because of coccidia, I took out all decorations) but for a few days he laid in the same place without moving to bask or eat or poop. The last couple days I went in there in the morning and picked him up and physically moved him to his basking spot and he sat there looking alert and happy all day. He's about the same age as yours. I've been told it might be a partial brumation but I'm not sure since he still seems very interested in food and stuff...
Yea isnt that weird maybe it is but I would think if it was partial brumation I would think they would go back to their hide? I think if your beardie is still regularly taking food I would feed him. Of course you will probably have to put him in his basking spot to make him digest. The only time I would worry about still feeding is if it was a full brumation. But I could be wrong
