Neosporin

A day or two ago I posted worried about tail rot. I was told not to worry to much but I'm still concerned. It's not visible in pictures but the very very tip of his tail is black. I was wondering if I could put some non pain relieving neosporin on it. If it could potentially cause him more harm than good then I won't. I'm attaching pics of both his tail from today and the neosporin. I can also list off the ingredients if needed.

Yea that's fine. It can act as a antibiotic cream and also soften and loosen any tight shed .

is once a day enough or should i do it a few times daily?

Twice a day but once is fine if that's all you have time to do.
