need help with heating

my son has just about finshed building a 6ftx16inx20in vivarium,but not sure what sort of heater to use for night,have heard bad things about heat mats ,could somebody please advise. thanks debby.

I would go with a Ceramic Heat Emitter they give off no light so it wont disturb your beardie while it's sleeping.Heat Pads and Heat Rocks are bad for them because they have a history of burning reptiles awake and asleep, Goodluck

I agree with the above poster. Beardies can see color lights and it can disturb their sleep. CHE do not emit any light, but put off a good amound of heat.

i use a 100w CHE, you'll need a pulse thermostat too.
