Yes, you should put the UVB bulb beside the heat bulb so that she can soak up UVB while she basks. Do you have the tube bulb or the compact/coil UVB bulb? You want the tube one.

I'd strongly suggest going with a 75g tank over the 50-55g tank. The 55g tank is only 12 inches wide, which can be too narrow for an adult dragon to turn around comfortably in while the 75g tank has 18 inches in width, which is the suggested minimum.

I agree. I just wanted to mention that another thing you may want to consider is going with a Mercury Vapor Bulb (MVB) since you will have such a large enclosure. These bulbs provide heat & UVB in one bulb and only need to be replaced every 12-18 depending on the bulb you get vs 6 months for the tubes. The only thing with them is that the basking spot needs to be at least 12-16 inches from the bulb depending on the wattage you get.

Generally speaking, the bigger the better :) Many here build, or have built for them, a 4 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft enclosure for their adult dragons, which I beleive works out to 120g. The only time the tank may be too big is when your dragon is just a little baby, and you can solve that problem by using cardboard to block off part of the tank and make it a bit smaller until he grows into it.

Hi there a little update we went from a 50 watt heat lamp to a 100 watt basking halogen heat lamp hahaha I saw some comments about it being so close so I made sure to put it a ruler away from her
Has anyone seen this before? Something in the corner of his mouth
