I have posted before about my Beardie having a URI. She's been on Ceftazidime twice now, and it doesn't seem to go away. Her last injection was about 3 weeks ago, and she stilll has URI symptoms, mucous around mouth that dries up, stringy saliva, these beard gulps that look like shes coughing and a popping sound that comes with it..
Thankfully she's still eating, but sometimes look lethargic during the day.
I'm in Canada, so I don't know how hard it will be to find what I need for a nebulizer treatment.
From what I understand, I was reading that Tylan is recommended to use in a Nebulizer? If so, I found this site in Canada https://www.petsdrugmart.ca/Product/Tylan-(Tylosine)-Soluble-Powder-2120900/3550 (you may have to copy and paste the link, as it did not make a complete link for some reason.)
If that would be the proper one? Also, I could get my hands on F10 as well, as a local pet shop does sell it.
Do I need to get her a probiotic by any chance, from all the injections she did get? I saw there was Bene-bac on that website as well.
If someone could push me in the right direction, I could use your help .
medication was as follows and, it worked great.
acetylcysteine 20% x 1.00 7 to 8cc's 2 times a day for 3 to 5 days
one drop of baytril once a day for 14 days
cleared it right up

The Tylan or the Baytril either one have small enough particles to be used in a nebulizer.
I highly recommend using a nebulizer because it penetrates the lungs better.
You can definitely consider the probiotics to help his system get balanced out with her
being on antibiotics for awhile.
Are you keeping her warmer overnight, around 80, to boost her immune system?

The tylan that I had linked in the opening post, I think it's in a powder form, it doesn't say if it's Tylan 50, you think it would be okay to purchase?
