We never expected to get another dragon, but our neighbours next door wanted to give away Cleo, as he was called. We'd babysat him before, he's such a sweetheart. We nicknamed him Velcro because when he snuggles he never wants to go back to his viv, he hangs on as if he's made out of velcro.

So here he is. Today was his first day with us. He ate 13 supers and ate some squash, not bad for the first day he was here. He's only in a 30 gallon tank, which will be ok for now. He's 18" long but weighs only 200g. We figure he's probably 2 yrs old. Our neighbours rescued him last fall, they found him and a female (which they named Puff) on Craig's list. They were in a 30 gallon dirty tank, with sand and a huge log that took up 1/2 the space in the tank. Leo was at the bottom, he was sooooo skinny. He's gained weight, but never got the attention he deserved. I took some pics today, but will take more tomorrow. I think he remembers our place as didn't get stressed as I expected. No stress marks at all. When we let him run around the living room, he noticed our girls and immediate black beard, so his hormones are working!

He had a bath this morning, had a big poop, no smell, so not worried about parasites.

So here are a few pics, he's a yellow & dark gray, light gray colour.

Under the communal power sun in the living room:

Discovering there are girls in those tanks up above, he has a great black beard for such a skinny boy:

On the couch, he's got a pretty diamond pattern on his back:

Hope you enjoy
Deb and my six dragons :D      :( :love5:

Me, too! He's soaking in his bath & I'm going to see if he wants crickets. He has a pile of smaller sized roaches in a dish & I'll leave a little salad out for him, too, hope his appetite grows again!

LOL! :laughhard: I think you need to properly introduce your self Oki05! Most of us here are female. (Not sure why... :? ) So, feminine terms are usually the safe bet. A friend of mine here had the same issue. We'd "scold" our husbands/boyfriends and he'd chime in with "Men!" :x LOL!

  My fault, now I know & I'll always remember your name  I'm sure glad you might be getting Noodle a bit in advance, you already love her! I'll be glad to hear she's home with you.

So for Titan, he scared me this am, there was a pool of blood after I cleaned up his poop, so I called the vet back & I take him in on Saturday at 10a and I can pay for that visit and Leo's when I take him in next Saturday to check his mouth. So what a relief, 'cause Titan still hasn't eaten anything much since Sunday...so there is definitely a problem with my boy. I'm so lucky to have the vet I have and she'll be the one I see on Saturday. She's been taking care of my dragons for just over 6 years and enjoys seeing them. So keep your fingers crossed that Titan's problem is something that can be fixed. Meanwhile I'm keeping small roaches in a dish in his tank, just in case he wants to nibble. I did give him some little thin squash pieces this am and he ate a few, so that was good to see. He also got away from me when I took him out of his tank and made a beeline right to Didi, with me right behind him. Didi's reaction? Wide open mouth..."just get a little closer you little snack, you" Not surprising, he tried to bite Rubio's tail the other day...not a good thing to do with a dragon twice your size! So I grabbed up Titan and the look on his face was "why'd you grab me up, Mom, I was going to play with the pretty orange dragon". No fear, sheesh.

And Lonzo is definitely back to normal, but he's not going to be out until the weekend where I can keep an eye on him. Don't want any more flipping over for any reason. He didn't need a bath this am, either, but he can have one tomorrow am, see how that goes, needless to say he'll be held until he's in the bath, no more flying off the counter for him!

Glad to hear that Lonzo is back to normal and I am also glad to hear that you are going to the vet this Saturday with Titan, hopefully it is something minor!

That is so funny that Titan has no fear and just wants to play with Diva DIdi

Your babies just love giving you mini heart attacks, huh?
Poor Titan. I hope they figure out what it is and that it is nothing serious.

That image is so funny, Matt, and so apt, wouldn't surprise me, for a 10 year old he likes to jump off things, but he's too old for that now  So It's hold him until he's in the water and he's not out on the ramp for a few days. But at least he recovered well!

I'm anxious for the vet visit, too, Titan isn't his normal self and hasn't really eaten since last Sunday, and I'm so hoping it's fixable and he gets better, poor baby is only 7 months old, not a good start, but I have a great vet, so that reassures me.

And yes, Liz, they give me mini-heart attacks and grey hairs, too!

Holly, Mylo will be home tomorrow :blob5: :blob8: :blob5: :blob8: :blob5: :blob8: boy I'll be checking your thread when I get home, do you know what time he'll be shipped? This is SO exciting!

I can’t wait to see Dr.Wilson be a big dragon but I try to cherish hard the moments while he still fits in my hand 🦎

I can feel her staring into my soul demanding food
She was having a staring contest with a mealworm. I guess I never taught her to not play with her food, lol.
