I think i have now completed my vivarium, all i need now is the dragon. I spoke to a profesional local breeder and he
will be saving a baby blood red dragon for me next week for £90. Here are the pics, hope you enjoy them!
My one and only critisism would be the sand. I am basically completely anti sand but if you do insist on using it you should wait for your dragon to get a bit bigger before letting him live on sand.
If i had to put an exact time on it, I would say once he is over 16 inches long from head to tail. They are much much less susceptible to impaction at that point.
I love the bridge! How did you atach it and waire did you get it?? I want one. I also wanted to warn you about sand. I used to use it but I was so woried all the time that Puff would get impacted. Come to find out this was a valed thing to worry about becuse it has happend to others. I took out the sand and put in some lovly river rocks all smoth and prity. I havent herd of aneyone elce using river rocks byt Puff seems to like them and I dont worry now.
Lisa and Puff
I think that's paper towel, not sand guys.
Looks great! I'm also envious of your "bridge"! Some slate tile instead of the towels would really pull it together.
Yh its kitchen roll. At first i used calci sand but after further research i took it all out and put kitchen roll down instead. Easy to clean and looks quite good. I will be gettin really fine desert sand when the baby is at least 4 months old. And about the bridge i was really lucky because my mum gave it to me, all it is is a plant border lool but it looks really kool
