My savior Rex

My son bought me my first bearded dragon about 3 and a half weeks ago. Last year I lost a chihuahua and he was my service dog. I was at a point where I did not know what to do with myself. My son knew I had wanted a bearded dragon as a pet. He surprised me and got me the whole set up and even let me select him. I have had a lot of questions and need advice. Im hoping with being part of this kind of community that I can get that help but I cant figure out how to ask questions. Can anyone help?

Welcome to beardie world--- first lets go over the tank most of these "kits" are not adequate and a lot of money is wasted on stuff that is harmful to the dragon --- so please tell me what you have for a basking bulb brand and wattage- your UVB NO coils they are inadequate and will cause all kinds of problems -- temp gauges - are they the stick ons?

Welcome to the forum, you won't find a better source of info, or folks more willing to help you learn to care for your beardie. Ask about anything at all, also take some time to read through the care guides, there is a ton of great info there. Maybe post up some pics of your new beardie as well. We all love seeing them. Work with @KarrieRee she will help you get your lights on point. That is the most critical aspect of their care. You can make mistakes in other areas and they'll be ok, but if the lighting isn't right they will not thrive at all.

So to any reading this, how on earth do I post a thread 😅 New here, possibly too old for this

I have questions about bubbles on our bearded dragons eye.

So he’s gotten bubbles on his eye. We wiped them off and it’s only been twice in the last few weeks. Should we be concerned? No coughing or congestion. He’s very hungry and sleeps well. He’s 8-9 month range. His humidity is 30-40 day time and as high as 50-55 at night to early morning.
Should we be concerned?
