My perfect find!

Ive been looking to build Dex a nice basking ramp, because the pet stores around here are dreadful, so i went to our local DIY warehouse thinking id have to buy tiles, tile cutters, sealent etc to create what i needed when i stumbled across something perfect!
It was 'stone weatherbeaten roofing shingle'.
Which happens to be the perfect height and lenght for a basking platform, with built in steps!
I was so excited at my find I had to share it with you ^_^

Very nice! How expensive? and how did you get the tiles to stay together?

Its carved from one piece of stone (the main long part) so no sealant required!
Also its so heavy I can barely lift it let alone Dex move it.

The ledge and the 3 stone bricks all came out to £7 (so less than 11 dollars)

That is really nice. I have looked here for something like that but have come up empty handed. I will just have to keep looking I guess.

That is very cool. We are working on building a new viv for one of our beardies. I will have to see if I can find something like that here in the US.

Thanks guys ^_^ I was thrilled to find it and not have to (poorly!)construct something myself.
Dex seems to be enjoying it.

In the uk its a store called B+Q, which is a warehouse kind of store which sells paint, tiles, lighting and timber.
It took a bit of rumaging around in the brickyard before I stumbled across it in the roofing section.
