Hey Y'all,
I'm Magellan, and I'm 3 years old my mama's name is Randee she got me from a girl who took really good care of me but was going off to school and I don't really understand why but I couldn't go with her. My mama now is very new to this, and sometimes is nervouse, I'm nervouse too but she feeds me yummy crickets and hugs me, I really like it when she rubs me under my chin my eyes light up and I'm as happy as a Beardie on a cricket farm. She's scared to let me run around though because of the giant fuzzy things I think she calls kitties that are running about so ya'll should give her some calming advice. Well I've been with my new mama about 4 days, I think I'm gonna like it. We'll get mot pictures soon what a wonderful Beardie day!!!
Welcome Magellan and Randee A word of advice - be very careful when the cats are about. When George was a baby, my cat got her and she lost an eye You will never stop fretting about them ever - George is 19 months old now and she still worries the life out of me
 Hello Randee & Magellan!
And............ Welcome to BD.org!
Also.............. Congratulations Randee on the New Beardie!
Thank-you for sharing the the pic's.
Just so you know beardies will keep you wondering and worrying all the time.
But it gets easier..........I didn't say goes away.
I have a cat too he is a sissy when it comes to the bigger beardies, but I don't trust him with the smaller ones.
Not that I worry he would try to eat them but they sure do look like fun toys. I usually give my beardies roaming time in one room of the house (which I've beardie proofed) once they are of size that is easy to watch and catch. Like around 12 inches. I just put the cat in my room or outside for a few minutes so I don't have to worry about him being faster than me.
Again Welcome To The World Of Beardie Slaves!
