Hey guys and gals, you might remember me I was pretty active on the forum a while back. I haven't done more than poke around on here once in a while since Obie died. Currently we are keeping a pair of crested geckos. Here are some pictures of our little buggers.

Their tanks, they have been changed slightly, but they are pretty much the same.
Rhacs are definitely fascinating reptiles and like bearded dragons, are very handleable. So in that regards they are great. They are also much easier/cheaper to care for than a beardie in that they eat a powdered based diet that is actually better for them than a natural fruit/insect diet and they do not require expensive lighting or heating beardies need. They thrive at basically room temperature (675to 80 degrees).
All that being said, they do not match the personality and interaction of a beardie.
If you are interested in them check out http://pangeareptile.com they have great information, supplies, forums, and geckos.
Rhacs are awesome. Cresties, gargs, and giants are all easy and cheap to care for and are super fun to hang out with. I'm not quite as attached to mine as I am to my beardie, but they're still super sweet and fun.
