Okay, she ate her dubias today, but not her veggies, I'm concerned because she won't eat veggies, but I will get her a uvb either today or tomorrow, her basking area is about 85 degrees, but it's a very cold rainy day today so it's normally 100 or so, should I be worried about a fire hazard with the blanket?
Surface basking spot is 85? It needs to be 95-100 no blankets - what is the wattage of the bulb your using? Please don't get just any uvb - you want a zoo med w/ a reptisun 10.0 T 5 or Arcadia pro T5 12% bulb 24 watt both fixtures need to be 24"

Yes I will get the zoo med one I was planning on that for awhile now, I have a 100 watt incandescent light bulb, but like I said it's very cold today so it's a bit colder, but she's very happy rn, exploring her new enclosure and loving pets

You need to increase wattage then if your only getting a surface temp of 85-

You want at least 6" above her basking surface- she needs constant temps of 95-100 surface basking temps - the uvb is crucial - it's going to need to be 12-15 inches directly above the basking decor for a T 5 bulb

a poem by AHBD (THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE IT!)

Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?

Hey! We’re the same age! That’s cool!
Hi there a little update we went from a 50 watt heat lamp to a 100 watt basking halogen heat lamp hahaha I saw some comments about it being so close so I made sure to put it a ruler away from her
Has anyone seen this before? Something in the corner of his mouth
