mvb with screen okay?

so i have a 40 gal breeder and i've been looking at the "enclosures only" forum and i've seen that most people have their lights inside of the tank. i have my megaray mvb 100 watt and a 100 watt white bulb on top of the screen of my enclosure.

is that ok? or is my beardie not getting the proper amount of uvb and heat?

its just fine to have them on the screen...
i have a MVB on the screen of a 40 gallon breeder tank too... and it works great.
dont worry, as long as the temps are good, your good.

Hello,
Since you have a Mercury vapor lamp having it on top of screen is ok if it is a wide screen. The Megarays are very strong, so if you have it at 12-14 inches your dragon is getting maximum UVB exposure.
