So I got Mushu about a week ago and I noticed his tail looked different when i got him but just thought since he came from a home with young children it had broken off and was growing back. however I am now a little concerned because I want to make sure it doesnt need more attention. So i am looking to you guys to maybe give me some insight and advice on what the next step should be??? Thanks
Unfortunately, they don't grow their tails back. It looks like it was damaged/broken at some point but it appears to be healed over which is good. It may just remain crooked like that and not cause any issues going forward. If you see it start to shrivel then it may indicate an infection which should be treated quickly by a vet. If it just stays looking like it is now, it shouldn't cause much issue going forward.
