Fin is our 4 year old fancy bearded dragon that’s usually looks healthy as can be……but for the past 3 weeks he’s been gasping for air some (taking deep breaths that aren’t normal which has gotten much much better) and what we thought was normal shedding has become puffy, pink, swollen, and sheds around his mouth? I’ve seen people refer to mouth rot, but not sure what it is exactly and how we can get rid of it if he does? I’d like to find out the cause so we prevent it from happening again if possible?

That looks fairly painful!
Has she been shedding around her mouth area at all? What you can do now to try & start clearing
up the infection showing is get some raw, unpasteurized honey to put on his mouth area. It is very
effective, safe & tastes good to them. So if she ingests it, there wont be any toxicity.
Has it affected her ability to eat normally?
