Moon Light vs Heat Mat

So as the colder temps approach, so far we are just using a 100 watt heat lamp for a heating source. As it will be starting to get colder at night, I been thinking of what to use to keep the viv warm at night. I thought of moon lights, but then I heard they mess up the sleeping schedule.

So what are pros and cons between Moon Lights as opposed to heat mats?

I would use neither, get a CHE (ceramic heat emitter) this way the dragon still gets the heat from above and there is no light. CHE's are about the same to slightly more expensive then your average heat mats.

I second this.

They're awesome, I just got a CHE for Tikster last week. Fits in just about any dome and is perfect for keeping her temps in the mid 70's or so overnight :)

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
