ok so here is the problem,i have 2 diff species the one species is the pallid roach(Phoetalia pallida) and the second is the Lobster roach (Nauphoeta cinerea). The pallid i think comes from my home country of South Africa but not 2 sure but anyway i got 1 rubbermaid holder with the mesh which holds the Pallids and the second holder is a tank with with the lobsters with a heating pad which sits at bout 37c which is bout 100F i think,i only have one heating pad in the glass tank and not keen to buy another...would it be fine to mix 2 species?or is it a no no :?: :?:
Yea most roaches you can mix together, there is a few that will actually crossbreed and a few that will actually eat the others. I dont remember which ones will crossbreed but posticus will eat other roaches.
yeah there is no problem with most roaches as i said!do u have any problems keeping new born roaches hydrated!Any tips for me on incresing the breeding cycle, they seem to be breeding pretty well but i want to establish faster!they sitting at 80c sometimes 90c...
Great idea!never reallt thought of that one!i was a little nervous of spraying the egg crates cos i can't afford mold and dead roaches... nice 1 thanx alot
