I just picked up Zoey at a Reptile Expo this past weekend. When I brought her home, to my horror, I noticed something wrong with her toes. I adopted her, so in a couple of years, I could breed her with my male. Will her future hatchlings have deformed/missing toes, too?
Other than that, she is a very sweet girl with nice colors!
I believe it depends on how they are deformed/missing. If it was caused by trauma, then no, it shouldn't. But if it is a genetic disorder than yes, it could be passed down in generations. Do you know how it happened?
Unfortunately not, since I didn't notice until I got home and the breeder didn't have any business cards/contact info. It doesn't matter, I will love her just as much as my boy beardie. I may just adopt another female from a reputable breeder online. Thanks for the reply!
