Might be getting a Day Gecko or Leopard Gecko...

Hi there everyone. I am new to this forum and if you would like to read my post on introductions you can. Anyway I was thinking originally about getting either a leopard gecko or a Madagascar Standing Day gecko. I am leaning towards the day gecko side and I know much about them. I know that you shouldn't handle day geckos as they are more of a look-at reptile, but so are leopard geckos. I think I have done most of the research on these animals, but if anyone has anyone can tell me anymore it would be much appreciated.

We bought our son a leopard gecko and we handle her everyday, she waits for me to pick her up in the morning before she settles down for the day. She has quite the personality. I honestly don't know anything about any other gecko other than crested. I hope you choose whichever makes you happiest. :mrgreen:

Did you train your gecko to do that or did she just come with the personality? Also can you tell me what supplies I will need for a leopard gecko or two? Thank you! I prefer to do research before jumping in. :book:

20 gallon tank, with screen top.
under tank heater for a 20.
2 bell light fixtures, one being ceramic base.
1 red light bulb ( night viewing).
1 CHE 25 w should be enough with that uth.(use the ceramic base with this).
calcium without d3.
water "bowl".
substrate ( i use tiles myself).
wet hide.
dry hide.
that's it.. feeders but i figured that was a given
