When I try to click on the link, I get one of our pages that says, "Information
You are not authorised to read this forum." What's wrong with the link?

Gina: Perhaps you could just "unsticky" those topics when they're "done". That way any links being referenced are still valid. I don't think any harm can be done by having them around. They'll just sink lower on the list of the General Discussion forum... unless you have a specific reason you think they should be removed entirely from view?

I could "unsticky" them. Honestly, I never gave it a thought after I moved them from the General forum.
