Melamine flooring

I'm building a custom Melamine enclosure. Is the bare melamine flooring ok for my beardie to live on, or should I cover it with tile?

I would think it would be ok but if it is a really smooth texture you might want to put something down so your dragon can move with out slipping and sliding all over the place.

Make sure you silicone the bottom and I personally would put tile in there to keep the nails filed. I put shelf liner on the floor and about half the floor has tile over it in mine.
