Hi I joined this forum months ago but never really got around to intruding my baby!
I am an 18 year old college student from Canada and this is my big orange friend mercutio! He's almost seven months now and is very round and photogenic and I love him with all my heart!
I am very new to reptile ownership so I'm doing my best to try and make sure he stays healthy. As you might see from early photos of him I made the mistake of keeping him on sand when I first got him (the breeder assured me it was safe at the time). Now he's on repti carpet!
Here are some baby pics of him (including his first shed):

(Note of course that the small toy isn't a permanent fixture in his tank it's just there for the photo)
Please let me know if u notice anything visibly off in any of these photos as I am still very new to reptile ownership (I would not have known about the sand had a friend not pointed it out in a photo)
Sand isn't totally evil....there are lots of opinions on it and it's a controversial topic. I have used sand with my Pogona for a very, very long time and never have had problems with it. I don't use it with young dragons though...
Your dragon is really nice looking!
