Hey, I'm Clarissa. I'm 20 and I live in California. New to the site but not bearded dragons. I currently have two - one who is about 5 months and another who is 1 month & in critical condition due to not being properly taken care of by his previous owners.
This is Falkor, my 5 month old.
And this is Onyx, my 1 month old... if you haven't seen my other post.
Besides my bearded dragons, I also have a ball python, a chinese water dragon and 6 crested geckos but the geckos are back at my parents house because I couldn't take them with me ):
They are both adorable and Falkor looks like a majestic little guy =D Best of luck with your baby beardie! And also congrats on being a navy wife! I am an Army girlfriend-soon-to-be-fiance =) gotta love your military man! I'll have to talk to you sometimes about your experience with the Chinese water dragon because in the upcoming summer, my bf and I would like to purchase one when we move to our new home!
Thanks sirenique.
Yea, Falkor's a lot of fun to have... He's a little daredevil though haha. He likes to run around the living room and up my screen door haha.
Message me anytime, I love my water dragon. They're a lot of fun
Aww! They are both so adorable. I hope Onyx gets better soon! I am also a Army fiance, if it weren't for my dragons I wouldn't be able to make it. lol I was thinking about getting a water dragon after my youngest beardie gets a little older. I'm excited.
Haha I give my husband a lot of crap all the time, jokingly of course, for leaving me with all these reptiles and a puppy.
We started off with a snake because he wanted one & of course I had to let him get it & it was the biggest jerk of them all. So he bites me & that's when he took me to go pick out Falkor... and we've just been adding on ever since.
My dad had a bunch of them when I was growing up. Domanic was my favorite. She was a good 16-18 foot python that stayed in her own room! My dad built a swimming pool and everything for her. Unfortunately, I don't exactly think I could ever let my man get a snake... Just watching them in their tank while he's at work gives me the jeebees. Lol I love lizards though. I'm trying to beg him to let me get a savannah monitor.
I would NOT by any circumstances let him get a snake that grows that big. Our friend has one and lets is roam around the living room... Ugh. Ours is a ball python so he only gets to 4-6ft. Unfortunately for me, I have to handle him while he's on deployment because he needs to be picked up at least once a week to be put into his feeding tank. And now that he has a new tree, he doesn't attatch himself inside of it like with the old one & I would just pick the tree up. I'm gonna have quite a few bite marks on me because he just does not like me for some reason and I handle him correctly ): Sexist. lol
