CHE only needed if it gets below 65 at night but unless a dragon is brumating it can be turned on to keep the enclosure around 72 , give or take a degree or 2. You might add a climbing branch that is goes from one corner on the floor to an upper area but other than that it looks fine. Many people are opting for the larger enclosures now , 4 x 2 x 2.

Do you think I should change anything in her tank? I have a ceramic heat emitter on the left that I put over her at night wherever she sleeps. I don’t always turn it on so maybe that’s contributed to the jaw :/ I have a 100 watt heat light. I used to have thermometers in the tank but I don’t have them anymore

You need two digital probe thermometers in the tank -------- those are a MUST-- I use 3 types of heat measures -- 2 digital probes - one stick on for ambient and a IR gun for spot checks

No one needs 2 , it's good to have one to set in the basking area for an hour to be sure to get the proper temp. and then on the cooler side. No IR gun is needed either, if someone wants to have it that's fine but it's not necessary.

Hello,

I agree, things like this can happen & often do. Egg laying is very hard on them sometimes & can really
zap their calcium levels & storage. The new T5 should be strong enough to help stop any more progression. Sometimes they use calcium faster than they take it in which creates a deficit.
I too cannot understand why they wont regulate the Reptile UVB lighting industry! Some of these lights need
to be taken off of the market!
