My bearded dragon is almost a year old. He has mbd, although he is under treatment and is improving a lot. A week ago or so the temperatures fell, now it’s much cooler. I really think he is going onto brumation; he eats less, he poops less, he is less active, still thirsty tho. Today I carefully lifted up his hide and his beard was just, super black. 10 minutes later it was all normal, everything was ok. Now, I was confusing it with impaction, but as I said, he pooped today so it can’t be. My concern is, if he has mbd and is starting to brumate, should I wake him up weekly or something? Please!!! There isnt that much time left!!

The black beard isn't usually good but I'm glad it went away quickly. If you keep seeing that or if it lasts for a long time that may indicate distress and is a sign of an underlying issue. If he's otherwise acting normal and his weight is stable then I'd let him sleep if he wants to.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
