Malamine?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melamine I noticed alot of people using malamine for tanks,someone brought this to my attention.Read the toxitity of malamine.Is that alright to use just wondering.Was gonna use on new enclosure.

You'll be fine. Never had an issue. If your still not comfortable go with MDF and you can seal it or even run a belt sander over the surface with a like 320 or higher grit to create heat and bring the glues to the surface to seal it. Works pretty good but is time consuming. You can even laminate it yourself.

There was an additional link that specifically talks about melamine resin which is what is used in eating utensils and kitchen cabinets.
