Madagascar giant day gecko

it's latin name has madagascar in it and it sorta looks like that insurance gecko...anyone every kept one? I've seen some cool vids on youtube of them being handled.


Also, besides the Rach types and leo's...any other types of gecko out there that are fairly easily kept and interesting? Honestly with all the attention on rach's and leo's it's almost as if those are all that there is. Thought about the panther gecko but I think I am going to stay away. While the barking would be cool, the biting..not so much.

well it looks like giant day geckos are basically the day version of crested gecko's. I'm betting CGD can be used for the nectar portion of their diet while the usual stuff I buy for my other animals for the meat.

Hi there a little update we went from a 50 watt heat lamp to a 100 watt basking halogen heat lamp hahaha I saw some comments about it being so close so I made sure to put it a ruler away from her
