My beardie is very you so it would be rare for an infection but anyway I'm here so my beardie is young. He has a little breathing difficulties but he's shedding I think it's something clogged in his nose it's only at certain times it is noticeable. But he also has some mucus which might be a lung infection and he breathes with his mouth open but that might be also because his nose is clogged and the mucus might be from breathing with his mouth. I'm to poor to get him checked out so I don't know what to do? It's pretty confusing so any help is thanked!
If he's a little guy and shedding, then you're probably right in that his nose is just plugged up. Their nose plug sheds can sometimes be stubborn but will eventually work free. You may also see him puff out and breathe heavily to help loosen sheds and that's also normal behavior. As long as he is alert/active and eating well I wouldn't worry too much about it.
