Hi all just a quick visit here before i book into the vets.
My dragon is around 2 years old and has recently developed a lump on his back near to his shoulder. There seems to be black discolouration spreading across his back now. The lump feels solid and it makes his skin feel like some shed had not come off, i gave the lump a gentle rub to see if the skin had any movement but one of his scales fell off which left like a clear watery substance underneath. I am currently treating it with some of my babys skin cream clotrimazole 1%. He is currently being a bit fussy eating and only really taking marios, his daily poo has also stopped , a bath emptied him 3 days ago and currently in the bath now while i type this. Temps, food hygene have all been consistent so any ideas of what it could be would be great, thanks for reading will add some pics now

It may be fungal but thankfully doesn't look like yellow fungus which is very difficult to deal with. Are you positive that he can't get too close to the lights ? Just to rule out a possible burn . But yes, this looks like possible fungus, the vet visit should help you get some answers though. Don't be worried at all if he's not pooing as often, my adults poo about once a week so 3 days is nothing and may be because he's not eating his usual diet. Excess soaking can make fungus or any wound worse by spreading bacteria.

Hello,

I agree, it looks a bit suspicious but it doesn't look like yellow fungus. You could try some silver gel or raw, unpasteurized honey
on those areas to see if that helps clear it up some. Does the anti-fungal cream seem to be helping?
Adults tend to get a bit picky with their foods sometimes.
The lump was hard or soft to the touch?

Let us know how she is doing.

Currently trying not to stress over my anemic dragon....she is being treated, but I don't agree with her treatment plan and have been seeking out a second opinion from another vet. If anyone else has dealt with anemia, please let me know how it was resolved. I am losing sleep over this
Another post lol. My beardie does not like enclosures. Her tank is the kids room and she has created a nesting/bed spot in the corner. She will cuddle with my son but she know when the lights are out and the kids go to sleep, she literally goes to her bed like she is our 3rd baby. I love her. And to think, I never wanted a beardie lol
Please help. My beardie is my baby and I am worried she may be egg bound but I can't tell. She is over 2 yrs old and has never laid an egg. She has been swollen for two days and can't tell if she may be impacted or egg bound. Please help.
I'm still looking to adopt. I live near Homerville Georgia.
