I didn’t think Id get another dragon after Bandit. My heart was so broken but I hated having the empty tank. June 19 I went to a reptile place nearby to look and said if the dragon runs to the glass I would consider it. I really wanted a red female again as bandit was the most beautiful girl on this planet. Bandit ran to the glass and put her hand on the glass and I was sold.

This reptile place, the smallest dragon of the bunch ran up to the glass and sat and checked me and my child out and let me hold her. I brought her home.

Meet Vera. She’s a hypo, her siblings looked translucent and she’s starting to become a red girl

Vera doesn’t even give me stress marks. She’s a little skittish, she takes greens, hates nutrigrubs, loves dubia. Funny how she is so different from bandit. But boy, can they eat when they’re this little. I forgot how expensive baby bearded dragons are to feed.

I’m so sad these forums aren’t as popular anymore, I love the anonymity of these forums so strangers can’t stalk your person social media pages.

Oh she is a cutie. I'm glad you got another, I have lost 2 over years, the last just this last April so i know how much it hurts. But they are just to darned precious to not have them.

This girl is so bizarre, I swear I have never seen a single stress mark on her. Do hypo dragons produce stress marks? Is it a trait thing?

baby dragons are so expensive SOS

My dubia colony can’t replenish cause she eats so much I forgot how expensive babies are now especially with all the increased prices

Is it normal for hypo nails to have dark color??

This girl is in constant shed too, I feel bad, she barely lets me touch her when she’s like this

Hypo is a reduction in dark pigmentation not a complete lack of it (albino i would assume) so to see a bit of in the nails i think would be normal.
@Claudiusx @AHBD or @CooperDragon could probably tell you for sure.
