Lost power this morning.

Finally back on. Had Alex put in front of the fire with me for warmth and some morning light from the window. Put her under the heat lamp to warm back up and reset the timers again lol

The trigger for the power coming back on? I needed coffee one way or another lol Was baking a sweet potato too and gathered some greens.
But if course "Beeeeeeep" from the stove as soon as I put the water in lol always does that. Tests my limits for coffee. Last time it went out I used the camp stove. Turned it off, waited etc... removed the canister and it immediately started out gassing. Fortunately I was outside but it went hissing for an hour, covered in frost etc... I have another canister but it's old like that one was so now I'm more nervous than usual around that thing. Think it's going up on Craigslist free tbh. Never really used it camping either. I made fire, use it lol The meat and veggies taste so much better cooked in fire and I can boil the water using a tripod. Stupid thing took forever to hear up due to winds.

Looks like an old percolator pot. My dad loved those.
The constant power outages was part of why moved back home from Washington. I swear it was off more than it was on.

we had a power outage last night. went off at about 1am. came back on at a little after 4pm. it is currently about 6pm. we made coffee on the camp stove on the back deck this morning. gonna take more than lack of power to keep me away from coffee! sir henry didn't have a clue about any of it, he just kept sleeping til the lights finally came on. he's now warming up before lights out. heat in the home is higher than normal just in case we loose power again. gotta love a good oregon coast storm!
