A bit old and I'm not sure the OP is still looking. But the best juvenile Beardie advice is to have a really solid live food colony with a reliable supplier that ships fast / live foods (I love Symton) They eat a lot of insects that first year or two if they're Alex lol The second advice would be having access to as many fresh greens and veggies as possible. They can be very picky eaters. The adult we adopted had a life of prepared dried "food" supplemented with roaches and too many bites of banana... He really opened up to trying new things. But the juvenile we got after he passed? Princess lol
