Ok... I went to the Sacramento Reptile show on Saturday and was really counting on Barbara (Fresnowitte) to be there to bash me over the head if I even considered getting another baby. I really wasn't prepared for another one just yet. Well, she didn't show.
I took one look at Livia and HAD to have her. She is a 6 mo old orange trans with just the sweetest little temperament you could hope for. She hasn't showed any signs of relocation stress whatsoever! Her appetite is great (hurray for dubias!) and she loves being held and given lots of attention. She's the best impulse buy I've ever made.
So pretty! I am definately staying away from those reptile shows! All you guys keep popping up with new BD's! My hubby would KILL me! He's already jealous of Buttercup!
Congratulations on the New Little Goddess!
Sorry I couldn't make it to the show but aren't you glad that I wasn't there to stop you?
I did for warn you about Pringles though. :laughing6:
Livia is beautiful! :love5:
I don't mind taking the blame for her! :laughing6:
Thank you for the comments. Yes, Barbara, wish you could have been there but glad I wasn't harnessed in. I'm so excited about her! I'm still waiting for her bloodlines from the vendor who sold her to me. They had originally purchased her from Phantom Dragons. It's so nice to have a little girl in the house. I have two males already.
Well you'll be getting alot more action out of everybody. The head bobbing and waving will soon begin!
None of my beardies can see each other but they still know that the opposite sex is near.
Enjoy your little Goddess! She is truely beautiful! :love5:
My husband just told me that we'll get her cage all dolled out this weekend. He's a good man! I'm already seeing the difference between my boys & girl. My Maximus loves attention and to be held & carried about but I wouldn't say he's a snuggler. My lil' man Sparticus tolerates me for the most part. But Livia... she's a complete snuggler. When you hold her, she'll climb up and bury her little nose as deep into your neck as she can. She presses so hard, I get concerned whether she can breath or not.
That's the way my girls act too. As a matter of fact I just went to the store I took Ms. Piggy with me an all she wants to do is bury her nose in my neck. She is kinda scarey though she has such a big mouth and her previous owners feed her lots of pinkies. I'm always somewhat affraid that she will see my ear lobe as a pinky.
That would definately hurt.
But yes I find that the girls do act differently than the boys. With the exception of Wheezie who also likes to snuggle. Makes me wonder if Wheezie isn't a female brain.
