Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives.

We are Angie and Flippie and would like to share some of our fun and funny moments with you.

I've been cleaning viv's the whole day as we've got a coccidia infection in both our dragons, and this is who were hiding in Flippie's viv:

The bigger of the two wild geckos:

The little one getting comfy on the hammock. If you look carefully, you will see the bigger one behind the hammock on the wall:

The little one just before his release. Please excuse the photo quality, I had to catch him in a plastic container and took the pic through the side of the container.

When I first saw the pic of the shed skin, at first I thought "Ew, icky" but then I remembered I have a box filled with like 20 skins from when I first got my snake :p Gotta love owning reptiles.

Looks like you have tokays raiding your house? I had 1 of them before he died from a tumor:( but where do u live like states or asia if u live in the states and those are tokays the case is someone must have released the tokays or they got away and maybe repopulated in ur house;) But just keep some of them and research them to see what species it is

@noonthirtyfive: I actually didn't keep them. It was just interesting as Angie sheds in bits and pieces, but Flippie just explodes!

@jaymerz: My thoughts exactly, though those things are much faster than Flippie. He loves hunting, but I don't think he would have been able to catch one. They've got the added advantage of being able to stick to the walls and roof!

@lizardlover2012: I'm in South Africa and they are pretty much in abundance in our area. We've got one little one in our kitchen running wild, so I just leave him the extras after making Flippie and Angie's salads :) He still runs like crazy when we walk in on him unexpected, but my husband sees him every morning.

No pics today, but an interesting observation. After a bout of coccidia infection and two rounds of meds, Angie surprised me today. She hasn't been eating like she used to for almost two months now, but I put it down to recovering from being sick. However, she got some roaming time today and was more active than I've seen her in a while. I put a superworm on the floor (the same as she is offered every day) and she actually ate it. I tried again, with the same result... I've come to the conclusion that she only wants to use her viv for sleeping: not eating, roaming or pooing in the viv!

Hi Laura! Got pics of the whole setup, especially for you :) I change the interior quite often, so in some of the old pics there are hammocks, in others a little house hide-away, but these are the current pics.

Angie's viv:

Flippie's viv (dont't pay attention to the dial thermometer, I have a probe in as well) (I cover the vents in winter to keep some heat in):

Angie's old viv was a masterpiece, but we had to rebuild when we got Flippie:

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
